Here is the transcript of my dad, Ed Greevy, and his photographic relationship with Haunani-Kay Trask.
I recorded this on 9 March 2023 at Big City Diner in Waipahu.
“She’s one of the few people that I’ve run into during my photographic life that understood, without being a photographer herself, she understood the value of pictures.
And so she would always call me, or I think she always called me, alerting me ahead of time that there was going to be an event of a certain kind, at a certain place, on a certain date, and if I could make it, I would.
I made most of the of the dates. That’s why I have more pictures of her because I knew, you know, when it was happening.
She later got into the the dispute with the philosophy major, Joey Carter. She had a lot of people come out for a demonstration there, which I photographed.”
