Known as the photographer of the Hawaiian sovereignty movement, Ed documented land and political struggles in Hawaiʻi for 40 years. His archive includes over 100,000 images.
Ed passed away due to natural causes on 6 November 2024 in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi. He was 85 years old.
